So how likely is it that everything I ever posted in just... died?
Long time no post.

CotG is still going on. Brethren of the Stars, a new campaign you may like, is off the ground. ITM has been restarted... again. A new FB campaign has been made. Glenn hasn't GMed his Star Wars or his Pokemon in awhile, but aside from that, everything you play in is still around.

Really? I thought I'd glance around here to see if there was anything I could do--so cool!
I currently attend a tabletop game of Dungeons&Dragons, so I thought of CotG and hopefully my homework will lessen a slight bit so I can stop by more often.

Awesome. I'm also available online.
To prevent this thread from being used as a catchup thread: You still have work to do on Zene's sheet!

Ahhh, I love coming here to gaze at Zenexoria's stats and making my head explode like learning about quantum physics... Where'd we leave off last time??
I believe from last time we had worked on it, this is still what's left..... *Skills still need like 10,000%-15,000%, I'd say. *35 or so Forbidden Merits (some have already been set by prereqs) *Around 200 more CPs *All the rest of your Fs: 10 Leaf, 10 Flame, 1 per 1.5 Class Points, 10 martial art, 10 per trainer, 70 unique (10 from each Affinity, 10 lightsaber, 10 Dark Side, 10 from Deimonai) *Rest of F2s as listed
Unless it's increased.
.....halp

That sounds right, and it would have increased to around 240 more CPs which also increases the Forbiddens and raises your Merits to 40.
(2 unique F2s (1 magic F2 (1 F2 (1 from each trainer (1 Dragon F2s (Sound Five combo F2
Were the remaining F2s.
I also don't notice any Energon Disc transformation, so add those too.
And this:
+50 Aff to all elemental attacks (in addition to the +25 from the other spirits and the Tome) +25 Aff to all Undine/water based abilities 1 Undine, Salamando or Dryad F2! 50 Affinity Points to spend as one wishes +25 to Magic Lore: Mana 700% Lore: Elements 700% Incomplete Godbeast Transgressive Merit! *A zanpakuto for everyone! These zanpakuto are ancient ones that have been wielded by former Soul Slayers, mostly ones that for whatever reason needed to be kept hidden. These zanpakuto will, under Yoshi's guidance, acquire a second spirit from the owner as well, giving them a spirit from the old weapon and a spirit from the new. *Shinigami status similar to Ichigo's. Soul Society is willing to make CH members basically unranked shinigami - to advance to lieutenant or captain status would require training and missions within Soul Society. Because of this mission, however, Seiryu, Denios, Rashel (who so far seems to want to wash her hands of Soul Society due to her anti-supernatural prejudice), Laura, Brent and Jerry have acquired some affinity with and reputation in Soul Society. This manifests as the Legendary Shinigami Certification. *+50 Ki. *1 F2 kido *1 F2 from the zanpakuto or sword skills *9 CPs into Shinigami (which of course grants 6 Fs)

Right!!
As a dragon, rather than fireballs, she spits globs of acid at foes. Maybe that could be worked into some sort of acid rain storm or acidic pool or somesuch?

Post by sithofmacabre on Feb 13, 2008 2:15:48 GMT -5
I simply divvy up the 10,000%-15,000% to all of the skills she'd most likely want, correct?
|
|
|
Post by Frederic Bourgault-Christie on Feb 13, 2008 5:07:40 GMT -5
Yes, it can be any numbers of acid attacks. Perhaps a Sith Alchemy acid like the World Dissolver or something that takes advantage of acid's ability to create energy to explode, spreading the acid that explodes, spreading more acid etc. as a cluster bomb.
And the Skills are divided like that, yes. It becomes more difficult to pump after 700%, so tell me what % you want to reach and I'll tell you what it'll cost.

How much to get her skill in Lightsaber to maybe 800%?
Body Building & Weight Lifting, Competitive Eating, Fleshcrafting, Gardening, Heavy Weapons, Hunting, Tattooing, Torture, and Weapons Engineer, and Zero Gravity Combat all raised to 725% or so if possible, or whatever I can afford to get them on a higher percentage altogether.

I figured you'd ask, and the answer is more than you have. In fact, I think you actually had used all you had to get to 744%.
With all of them brought up to 725%, that leaves you with 5000% left.

Alrighty, can I spend the last 5,000% on the Lightsaber skill then?

Sure. Welcome to 745%!

Umm...magic F2, I hardly think of Zenexoria necessarily being that of a magical person, so what could work for her, you think?
|
|
|
Post by Frederic Bourgault-Christie on Feb 19, 2008 11:30:59 GMT -5
Well, it depends. It can be anything from ANY magic. You're right that if Zene has a choice between a magical offensive option and a psychic or physical offensive option, she'll overwhelmingly choose the latter. So options could include: *Doing a type of damage Zene doesn't normally produce. Holy damage, for example. *Healing. Though Zene has force healing, she's not especially good at it (then again, she's not especially good at magic healing either). *Buffs. Something like a Power Word: Fortitude, Power Word: Shield or Boon of the Wild (Transgressive Gift of the Wild) could amplify her already ridiculous survivability. Thorns, Fire Shield, Lightning Shield, Frost Armor, etc. could turn her survivability into a bane for opponents. Or she could get something to buff allies. *Utility. Spells that might transport you, summon demons, let you survive in a broader variety of conditions, produce food and water, etc. could be damn useful. One option that would really work well is a Spirit of Redemption IV: www.wowwiki.com/Spirit_of_Redemption . Combined with Force Ghost, you could continue to aggravate opponents long after you have already taken the brunt of their best blows. Another alternative are Blood Shaman spells, which require hit points as a casting component. Since you have so many, sacrificing a few would hardly hurt. Options include Hemo-Goblin IV, which would summon an immensely powerful and knowledgeable creature that can perform innumerable tasks and also fight admirably; Blood Shot IV, which pierces, shatters, sunders, ignores and otherwise devastates armor; etc.

I really like the sound of the Blood Shot IV as an offense, but I think the Buff Spells amplifying her survivability could be fun. Sooo, Buff Spells, go!

What sort of thing we thinking of?
|
|
|
Post by sithofmacabre on Feb 24, 2008 4:22:54 GMT -5
The thorns seem like a good idea--some sort of literal rose type thorns or other flora-type spikeys? Question mark?
Something where the thorns would literally grow out of her flesh, right? But then take on an actual solidity, not fleshy. Yaye.
That would look so nasty that it's awesome.

|
|
Post by Frederic Bourgault-Christie on Feb 24, 2008 14:51:29 GMT -5
It can be, but it's typically more of a spiritual aura that manifests the druidic power of thorns. However, it seems you want that PLUS actual thorns, so yes .

So something like that would work for her? Spiritual and physical thorns or something?

|
|
Post by Frederic Bourgault-Christie on Feb 27, 2008 5:27:39 GMT -5
Yeah. We'll call it Thorns of the Sith. It'll have Sith alchemical elements as well for a poison boost to the Nature damage. Fair enough?

Pitch me some ideas. Generally, anything that can destroy a solar system works for the destructive scale of power.

Well, I did give her gardening for a reason--any chance of having a Forbidden 2 in which she grows colossal carnivorous flowers, or any other type of psycho flower for that matter?
Or maybe something to do with her God, Kiteo--for her race he was the God of Life, Balance, and Death. Although he also puts use to flowers himself, so I guess it would be the same...

And yes.

Alright, so one of the unique F2s will be a sort of surprise attack I suppose--a colossal predatory flower grows from the ground and snatches an opponent, pinning them to the spot so she might have an advantage in opportune attacks.
And I think another would be a sort of leech seed type thing--small vines of imitation venus fly traps that wrap around an enemy's limb and quickly begin to bite into their skin, taking health and giving it to Zenexoria.
If those work, I mean.
By the way, has anyone claimed Hannibal Lecter as a trainer? I think he'd be someone Zenexoria would love learning from in the future..if possible
